Help! Should I take this class???!!!

I have to take some science class next year, and my choices are:
AP Physics
AP Chemistry 2
AP Envornmental Science
AP Bio 2
or regular Anatomy

I was hoping to take AP Bio 2, but I had heard it was really hard, especially at my school were one of the hardest teachers teaches it. However, he is my chemistry teacher and I feel like I can deal his extensive workload. Still, I would like to know what AP Bio 2 is about. I had heard is was about doing labs and formal lab reports (which I am not good at). Also, that it was also about memorization. Anyway, can anybody give me their thoughts about this class and if or not I should take it.

PS. if you have any comments about the other classes please tell me.........I really need help and I dont know what to do

Thanks in advanced.

id say ap bio 2. its easier then physics and chem 2, but its a challenging course, i dont think its as bad as you might think. if your good at genetics problems then you might do good.

When I finish high school, I will have taken 7 science courses, earning 8 credits for them...so I know a bit about sciences...
AP Physics is HELL (especially at my school where the teacher doesn't know how to teach)
AP Chem is good and bad. If you ENJOYED Chemistry and you want to learn more (the labs are pretty cool!) then go for it, but some of the topics can get a bit confusing/overwhelming
AP Environmental Science is a lot of fun. Is focuses so much more with current surroundings than other sciences and is mostly about "thinking" not memorizing formulas or reactions or exceptions. It is about observation and vocabulary...-ish
AP Biology is a good class. I am really excited about it, but I'm not taking it until next year :(...I know that there is a fair amount of labs, but I really don't know much about the workload. Did I understand you right in that your Chemistry teacher is also the AP Biology teacher??? That is surprising....anywhoo, best of luck!! If you want, just PM me if you have a question... ;)

i am currently taking AP bio. it is a difficult class, but if you take time to study before the tests, you will do fine. In my class, the labs are not difficult at all.

It all depends on your study habits.

i think it all depends on how your teacher teaches
my teacher gives soooooooooo much hw and the tests are sooooo much harder than the AP tests
if you really love bio then i guess it worth it but if reg bio was kinda just like an okayy class for you then you might want to reconsider ...

yup! i gotta agree with the penguin kidd. AP US History...hardest son-of-a-b**** in the world. i only made one(1) valid 'B' on a test, and that was the very first one...after that i had all 74-79...and one 50. but then i got a review book and took a bunch of practice tests and realized: this isht is the easiest crap in the world!!! i rock. i own. me and the AP test...it's goin down.

basically, do what you feel you must, but everything's worth a shot. and if all else fails, take dual credit. then you'll be guaranteed credit if your goin to school in state.

I'm in the same situation. I've signed up for AP Bio and my bro also took it junior year (i'll be a junior next year). I didn't want to do AP chem because I'm not really enjoying hon. chem that much this year and I didn't want to take Honors physics. The teacher at our school got an award for like best teacher or something to that extent and my brother got a 5 on the Ap Bio test when he took it. It's a lot of time from what I heard, but I guess if you like bio (which I do) go for it. :)

I wish I had the same options as some of you guys! AP Bio 2 would be a wild dream. All we have for AP sciences at my school are AP Enviromental and AP Biology. The Florida Virtual School doesn't even give me more options. So if you were to ask for my advice, I would say that you should take the chance if you have it. AP Bio 2...I'm jealous.

haha....AP Bio 2 is just Biology II. you know how Biology is required? that's actually Bio I, and AP is just the next step...an elective/extra course if you wish
