My school does not offer AP physics B, so i kind of wanted to do it independently..i heard it's not hard because it's all about the formulas and stuff and i am good with math.. DO you think it would OK/Good if i took it by myself. I usually am pretty good at learning thing by myself and being my own teacher, but i am sort of scared because i am taking 4 AP classes next year ( my junior year) ..Help? :confused:

well, if you work independently, you can start before classes if you want. Also, you don't have to start until you've settled into your other classes so you can see if you have enough time. Also, if you want I can help you - IM is the best way to get me. I helped someone else last year through physics. The hardest part is learning how to approach the problems.

I took all 3 AP Physics exam last year, (while taking regular physics in school, so it's pretty much all independent study). My suggestion would be to study Mechanics and opt for the AP Physics C Mechanics exam.
AP Physics B covers all 6 fields of physics covering mechanics, E&M, Optics, Modern Physics, and Fluid Mechanics. This is A LOT of stuff to study on your own.
However, AP Physics C Mechanics just deal with mechanics, it's more in depth, but easier relatively
DO NOT try to do the AP Physics C E&M, because it's vastly different from the AP Physics B E&M. (Unless you really want a challenge, I did it...and it killed my AP English grades. T_T)
