Ok....so I need a little help. I'm trying to analyze the political causes of the revolutionary war and why there were more political causes than economic causes. In my opinion, it was obviously economically caused. So, I'm of a very subjective mindset and can't really consider this issue. Please help. Thanks.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
It was completely political, the whole reason for the Revolution was to get rid of salutory neglect and to get rid of the British rule. Americans wanted self-goverment and wanted to be ruled by their own people, not the British.
I think you are saying the reason was more economic because of the Stamp Act, Boston Tea Party, Intolerable Acts, etc.
Hey, thanks a lot. My reasons were more along the lines of the end of salutary neglect and strict mercantilism, but you helped me out. Anyway, thanks again.
No problem, glad to be of help even though I wasn't very thorough :S
