While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
I personally found the class (and exam) to be a lot easier than APUSH. For AP gov, there are certainly facts and history to know, but must of the questions are analysis based. It's all about applying principles. This makes the class easy for me, but harder for others.
As for the essays--WAY easy. They are no FRQs or DBQs. It is really guided response. The questions will have parts A, B, C, D, whatever. You answer part A, move on to part B. For example, this years exam had questions on economic policy (and it's been over 48 hours, so I can discuss this). Part A was to define fiscal policy. The answer didn't have to be long. Part B was to to describe how the legislative branch affects fiscal policy (or something like that). Part C was how the executive branch does. Part D was to define monetary policy. Part E was to describe and explain two reasons the Fed has independence in creating monetary policy. The questions are highly structured, and clear about what they want.
I actually took the AP Gov test this past monday and i was one of the easiest tests i have ever taken. The essays are a little easier than in APUSH but there are more of them.
