Hello, my history teacher gave this to us to do and I am currently haveing a problem. I only have two main points and am in need of a third. I do not agree on their views of themselfs and my first two main points are their violence and their cruelty towards the cherokees.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
You could give us the prompt...it'll be more helpful. One of the points you can use is Jacksonians were not the defenders of Constitution or truly governed America with their so-called "democracy." But be sure to back that up with quotes from colonists from that era and not from modern perspectives because democrats back then were really different from ours today :).
Um, I don't think putting violence and cruelty towards Cherokees would be enough. Remember, when writing a DBQ, the reader wants a lot of "outside information" so when mentioning about the Cherokees be sure to include: Worcestor v. Georgia, Cherokee Nation v. Georgia, and a lot more >>> don't forget Trails of Tears . Then analyze these events effectively; throw in couple of big words but don't over do it...you might end up confusing the teacher and yourself :D!
And don't forget to put lots and lots of outside source!!! It'll help you write a very great DBQ!!! :)
The below statement is false.
The above statement is true.
난 한글 제대로 쓸주도 모르고,
Someone else has posted about the same one. Here's Buddwyers138's advice on the topic:

And FYI, Next time you have an essay on Jackson, you're gonna have to be more specific. There are four that I know of and all are completely different. I just happened to remember reading about this particular essay.

I just had to take the same DBQ (i think it was the same one anyway) and i mentioned how they didn't really guard the principles of the constitution (Examples: gag rule, and south carolina's nullification)
OMG!!!!
I am sooooo sorry. I completely missed this post I made for Marisa13 (only a few posts down from this no less)...
It's the question that I'm pretty sure is yours and she has a link to the documents and I ANALYZED THEM ALL.
Here's the link, sorry for not seeing that sooner and I hope it's not too late! :(

I actually did this one yesterday! I definitely did the Trail of Tears, support of slavery, going against the Constitution (treaty clause / document about the Charles River Bridge trial), lack of women's rights (although this is a weaker argument, the push for women's suffrage hadn't begun yet), closing the second Bank of the United States actually hurting the West until the Specie Circular, etc etc.
have fun!
