Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
The workload is pretty much a continuation of AP Lang- you do a whole bunch of analyzing on a multitude of books from all over the world, and do a fair amount of Shakespeare as well. hmm, good books to start off with...I'd pick a Shakespeare play to read (not just Hamlet. If you want to read that play, I strongly suggest you read another Shakespeare as well), Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Brave New World by Adolus Huxely, Catch 22 by Joseph Keller, and Paradise Lost by Milton (be warned about this book- it is a long read, not easy to understand, and it takes a lot of energy to read simply because of the language used. It is emotionally draining- at least that is what my entire AP Lit class thinks). Oh, and probably Beowulf, too.
