Anyone who's taken the AP US History exam before, could you be of assistance and let me know what things would be best to study? The exam is next week and I'm really stressed about what I should know.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
I bought myself a Princeton Review book on the test, and it gave me these stats. You should buy the same book. Huge help.
By era:
1600 to 1789 has 17% of the multiple choice questions on the test.
1790 to 1914 has 50% of the multiple choice questions on the test.
1915 to present has 33% of the multiple choice questions on the test.
By general subject matter.
Political institutions and behavior and public policy has 35% of multiple choice questions.
Social change has 35%
Diplomacy and international relations has 15%
Economic change has 10%
Cultural aind intellectual developments has 5%.
Also, look for trends. You probably will not be tested on rote memorization. As you can see, social change and political institutions and behavior and public policy have the greatest effect on your score. Look for patterns in history.
And go to your local bookstore and buy a copy of Cracking the AP US History Exam. It's incredibly useful.
Good luck!
I enjoy calculus.
I have Barron's AP US History Exam prep book, and it told me the same as I read through it more, thanks
