Deep Throat was the informant to Bob Woodard and Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post. On May 31, FBI No. 2 official W. Mark Felt revealed himself to be the mysterious Deep throat and on June 1 the Washington Post confirmed his confession.
"Mr. Felt was perfectly placed to know all the details of the F.B.I. investigation into the Watergate burglary, as well as White House attempts to derail it." - The New York Times.
"Deep Throat, the secret source whose insider guidance was vital to The Washington Post's groundbreaking coverage of the Watergate scandal..." - The Washington Post
The best way to learn about Deep Throat it to look him up on the Internet. Now is a great time to research him do to the massive media surrounding his uncovering.
I hope I helped.

Also, search history websites for Deep Throat. Using Google or another search engine will get you a bunch of pr0n returns, but thats just common sense.
