hiiiiii i have to describe Jefferson's positions and justifications on certain topics. i've been able to discover his position for funding debts, bank of the us, and the protective tariff. however, i can only find that he opposed the whiskey excise and was for the french revolution. i cannot find why though. any help?! websites will do as well. please and thank you :)

He supported revolution in France (and Shays' Rebellion, and the Whiskey Rebellion) as the "natural manure” that feeds the "tree of liberty". What did John Locke believe about revolution? Cause that's what Jefferson believes too. It's necessary sometimes.
As far as that tax, democrats are the farmers party. Whiskey tax hurts farmers because they produce the corn and stuff in the whiskey. Of course Jefferson is upset.
If I was doing that topic I would mention those.
