essay on Fredrick Douglas...PLZ HELP

my teacher just assigned an essay on fredrick douglas due monday because, out of the ten of us in my class, not a one of us read our source books for today..:( there is not enough info on douglas in our source books, can anyone PLZ help?????

Well, for one, I woudl try looking up Frederick Douglass on Google. There's bound to be info there. Another wonderful idea would be to try Wikipedia.org again, loads of useful info.

But basically what I'm trying to say is, there's loads of information if you look for it. If what you're asking is that you don't understand something, then maybe we can easily answer your question. But I suppose for your essay, you can introduce the time period, introduce Douglas, and tell why he was imortant during that time in just the first paragraph. Then you can follow up with it on Douglas's background, his views, his achievements, etc. The conclusion can summurize, but not to blatantly, the whole essay. And thus, you've got an essay.

capitalization? who the heck came up with this horrible rule?!
