Help and Suggestions

I'm currently taking apus in my second semester and I'm having problems with understanding and analyzing the content. We are at WWII in the book and it is getting difficult to remember everything. It is most probably because the lack of studying I do but honestly I find the book incredibly boring. Everytime i pick up the book or my notes it feels just feel like empty memorization of laws and such. Right now I'd like to review everything from the beginning but don't how to start. Please help and give some suggestions or different sources.

BTW my worse problem is writing DBQs, often times i can't get good arguments down or give solid analysis like connecting and comparing different events. My teacher is seriously getting pissed at me because he notices this.

well, i had a similar problem, i liked to sleep in class. however, near the end of the class, my teacher handed out these massive vocab lists, and told us that there was gonna be a non stop 2 weeks of tests on those sheets of paper, a paper a day. so pretty much our grade that term depended on those tests. i found that those helped tremendously during the exam. so maybe your teacher has something like that, if not, then i think the book has vocab for each chapter itself, not sure though. and btw, the teacher didn't want us to just define the term, but how it affected history, so we knew how it related to other events.

as for dbq's, i dunno what to say, other then i guess just practicing it.

we have large lists of vocab too, about 30 terms per chapter. but i've just been defining them so i guess i should try to connect them to other events. thnx dawall250.
