What do you need help with, and what have you done on your own? Do you not understand the question or do you think that you might have missed some information?

What documents we re you given? One major fear of the United States was the spread of communism, especially the USSR's attempted advance into Greece and Turkey, which would allow access to the Mediterranean Sea.

Hey everybody, I came across this site and it seems to be very interesting to share our knowledge and help each other. I am wondering if any of you are familiar with the DBQ that Reads: What were the Cold War fears of the American people in the aftermath of the second World War? How successfully did the administration of the president Dwight D. Eisenhower address these fears? years 1948-1961. Hope to see some answers!

yah, we had to do that one, too! Some of the fears include: communism, both at home and abroad (McCarthyism...), inflation/depression at home, spending most of the gov't money on defense, etc., and the arms rase with the Soviet Union (think Sputnik, education reform, etc.)
