Our assignment was to read Chapter 1 of Hofstadters The American Political Tradition and The Men Who Made It, The Founding Fathers: An Age of Realism. We have to say what the author's thesis and give six supporting evidences that he proved this thesis. HELP! I read it twice and really don't understand the points he is trying to make, and the assignment is due tomorrow! =/
