Help!! Wwii Essay!

Hello, I was just wondering if any one knew good points to argue:

Would the US have entered WWII even if Japan had not attacked Pearl Harbor. -NO.

well, what have you got to work with?

That FDR had provoked the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the US had antagonized Japan.

Well, that's kinda before the fact. Think more about things like if we hadn't been attacked on U.S. soil, we wouldn't have had an urgent reason to enter the fighting...

Did you want us to argue the point that the U.S. would not have gotten involved in World War II if Japan did not provoke the U.S.? Or do you just want an argument in general?

Because, I believe it's safe to say that the U.S. involvement in World War II was almost inevitable. WWII was considered the "Great War". We fought for a cause (against Nazi Germany). Had the U.S. not gotten involved in World War II, Germany may have ultimately won. Although the attack on Pearl Harbor was an important turning, there are other causes/reasons we must take into consideration.
