How to pass the m/c

I've heard of these books that say that if you use a certain method you can pass any m/c test if you follow a few simple rules. My friends father has one, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this?? If you do please share and I will try to get ahold of the book!!

Never settle for simply passing, always go for a notch higher.

are you talking about the % right, wrong, and omitted thing? hmmm
my ap book says 50 questions right, 10 wrong, and 20 omitted will get you a 3 for that portion. so really, its better to skip than guess (unless you can get it down to 2 of the 5 choices).
