When we got to the DBQ, everyone went "Oh my god" or something to that effect as we all hate doing women's rights/femininity essays.

I took the U.S. History SAT II this morning and it was pretty much the same difficulty. A little more detailed.

I personally found the mulitple choice a bit difficult. I had done quite a few practices, including the complete 1996 exam- and i thought the 96 one was much easier.

but seriously- i don't know how people could be shocked at the DBQ. there are probably just some hardcore feminists on the board this year or something- you know they're always trying to incorporate more up- to- date issues into those things. i definitely wasn't shocked at all, but just found it an annoying essay the write. the rest of the essays weren't bad- i chose 2 and 4, 2 was extremely easy but my number 4 wasn't very good and i should have switched to five/had the time too but was too lazy after i'd already written half of 4 haha.
good luck to everyone.. and i don't know about you but i really wish we could get those scores back earlier!!!!

the mc was alright, i think i got at least a 70% on that. the dbq i agree, was random; however, it wasnt too hard. the docs were easy and i basically just copied them, lol, that meant there was almost no outside knowledge put in, w/e. i picked 3&4 for the "short" response. overall, i think i got a 5, hopefully.

Thank God!!! I studied for over 2 1/2 weeks, and it paid off! I was a daredevil and answered all 80 questions. Did I get any wrong? Most likely.

I'll be honest. My favorite topic all year was the 1960's, and I was hoping for a DBQ on that decade. Imagine my chagrin when I opened the green book! But once I actually understood what the question was asking, I wrote like there was no tomorrow. I'm confident I got a 7-9 on that. Did anyone take the Form B exam? I'm curious as to what that DBQ was. As for the other FRQ's, I picked #3 and #5. I would've answered #2, except I didn't know what to say for the Spanish colonies! I could've written a novel on New England, but not on Spain. My #3 essay was crap! I totally fluffed my first body paragraph, because I couldn't remember too many specifics for the 1860's (I wrote about race relations and economics). But my next paragraph on the 1870's had actual details. Hopefully the readers will be kind to met and give me atleast a 6 on that one. As for #5, I was pretty happy with what I wrote, with the exception of my thesis. Oh well. Overall, I think I got a 4 or a 5 on the AP.

I also took the SAT Subject Test in US History yesterday. I thought it was easier than the AP. I know I got one wrong because I was stupid and didn't read a specific question carefully.

Now we can rest! Take care everyone!

phew! we can talk about it (well, according to the collegeboard at least), thus it is truly and officially over! that DBQ was so random and the question had so many different parts to answer, but i also wrote like there was no tomorrow. i have doubts about certain aspects of my essay but overall i felt pretty good abbout that. on the FRQ, i chose #3 and #4. 3 was kind of hard cuz u had to explain how the civil war influenced those things, but after pondering it (in about two minutes!) i understood and wrote...and wrote. then came number 4 which was a total breeze and i am pretty confident that i will get a nine on it. when the essays were finished i had filled the entire pink booklet and an extra page (wow). i am congratulating naybody in advance who gets their good essay posted on apcentral. was an awesum year but im glad the test is over.

I wish it were over for me, but unfortunately I am still not out of the fire. I didn't take the test with the rest of you, because I had a TSA State Competition. I had to order an alternate.

I'm freakin' out a little , because I have no idea when the Late testing date is. In a way I'm glad I didn't get that DBQ, but I still wish it were all over all the same. I just finished reading another chapter in the book...hope it helps. If not for the AP test, maybe for my final.... God help me before I croak from anxiety. :(

Do you think the late test is harder thn the regularly scheduled exam?

By the way what was the art question?

Yeah... I pick 3 and 4 too!!! I didn't know what to write for 4 though... Can you tell me a summary of your essay??

The DBQ was harder but manageable if you could recall the basics of women in society.

The essays were also pretty smooth. I picked 3 and 4.

Overall, easier then I expected

I thought the test was easy also, and am very confident in it....

I'm in my history class now, and listening to everyone talk about the test (we got our green books back during class today).

What is everyone doing in class now that the test is done & over with?
