Need help with outline

Hey everyone, I need help outlining a 8 page paper over the Bill of Rights. the points are the history of use, how has it expanded the rights of citizens, and how it is looked upon differently than in 1805. I have no idea on where to start on it.

Wow, eight pages. Good Luck with that.

But I will help you with your outline. I would use the basic three part outline.

I. Intro
a) First sentence(how are you going to make them want to read your paper?)
b) Thesis Statement
II. Expansion of Citizen's Rights
a)Topic of first paragraph
b)Topic of second paragraph
c)Topic of third paragraph
etc...
III. Uses in History
a) Topic of first paragraph
etc...
IV. Differences Between Now and 1805
a)Topic of first paragraph
etc...
V. Conclusion
a) Restatement of Thesis Statement
b) Closing sentence

This is how I would structure my paper. Remember, you can always switch the three topics around as you wish. Also, if you wish, you can add a transition sentence as the last letter of your main points. This may help you decide your order, or it may not help you at all. For your thesis statement, I would write it differently in your first and last paragraph.

If you need any more help when writing you essay, you can ask me. And if you'd like, I'll read over it for you if you e-mail it to me at [email protected]" class="bb-email">[email protected].

Once again, good luck! :o
