Hey y’all. I have a DBQ due next week, and I have no clue what to write. I need the good grade badly but the topic totally confused me. Can/May y’all help me…PLEASE!!!
Describe the hardships and obstacles encountered by immigrants arriving after 1880, as well as the opportunities available for their future. Be sure to include the changing immigration patterns and increased anti-immigrant sentiments that eventually led to restrictive legislation.

The best way to go about this is to make sure that u list all the immigration laws that were passed inorder to stop the profuse flow of immigrants. Take about the reasons behind these actions and their effect on the economy, and also, how the other side took it. I think there were two immigration laws passed, one that said only about 8% of immigrants from a certain year could come, and the other increased the percentage.
