Please Help Me!!!
I don't really have time to be comprehensive, but I can maybe give you the basics.
A) Louisiana Purchase - Big plus, it was a huge chunk of land that was relatively inexpensive.
B) Embargo - I'm going to assume this is the Embargo act of 1807. Not really sure on how it brought them together...it cut off all trade to other countries which made everyone hate it (isolation is really bad for the economy) which I guess is something...
C.War of 1812 - war, I hate to say, usually creates a sense of unity, a group of people fighting for a cause or to protect their rights. And this was the first one for the country (well, first major one at any rate) and helped send the message "we are here to stay! Mess with us and we'll fight back."
D. John Marshall Supreme Court decisions
1. McCullough V. Maryland
2. Dartmouth College V. Woodward
3.Gibbons V. Ogden ( 1 paragraph is enough for all three) - Can't really help you here with these. It's easy enough to find out what they're about and I have no idea what their significances are.
E. Adams-Onis Treaty - More land! People always like more land, plus they took it from Spain meaning they were gaining power. Plus, they were now transcontinental and had access to the pacific ocean.
F. Monroe Doctrine - Again, standing up for rights saying "stay on your side of the world and we'll stay on ours". Holding your ground against major world powers is a morale booster.
