Read-A-Longs?

Ok I have a problem with reading. If I don't have something to go along with the reading I absolutlely can't concentrate on it. Does anyone know of a site that offers "read-a-longs" to American Pageant 12th edition that bascially give you a term and you define it or give it more info or fill in the blank notes or something like that. You have no idea how much I would love you if you help me out! Thanks!

i don't think there is a site out there specifically for that, you can go to the publishers site of the book.

I've been there a thousand times but I just need something to help me when I read because then I don't concentrate on it and then I end up not reading it and that is not going to help me.

I've tried that but I really need to read the material but I can't do that because I have nothing to help me concentrate on reading the material. So I'm trying to find out if maybe someone knows a site or a teacher's site that might have stuff like what I need.

What exactly is it you need though?

You said outlines don't help, vocab definitions don't help.....

What DOES help?

Like notes that have blanks that you have to fill in the answer but it goes along with the book. Or an important person or thing and you write down information about it. Just something that makes you concentrate on the book more because you are looking for the answer to a question.

Oh, ok - Got it.

You could always try downloading the outlines here onto your Microsoft Word then deleting key parts of each sentence ;)

print out the questions on here the multiple choice ones and read some in the book then look to the questions to see if you can answer them... buy a book that condenses the info... i did and its my saving grace..

Well I don't think buying a shorter or summarized book would help her because she said she needs something to go along with her reading, not MORE reading.

Anyway, just get fill-in-the-blank notes, those should do the trick.
