Does anyone know where some really good student forums on taking AP US History are on this site? I found some good ones, but I was just wondering if anyone knew where some others were. The AP United States History classes gave their future students (Me) essays to do (an essay on student forums here and an essay/review on a book we choose to read) and a guided reading booklet (Chapters one through three) to do over the summer, HOW FUN... Well, if anyone has some tips on how to do well in this class and where some good student forums are on this site about taking AP US History, just write back... :)

I guess this is a great student forum. I took APUSH this year. I don't know how well i did on the AP Exam, but on the SAT II i got a 750 out of 800 and my friend got it perfect.
If you're having a REALLY hard time with something (like you seriously tried but couldn't fully find an answer) just ask a question and we'll try and help you. But...please do try first.

heyy i'll be taking APUSH next year as well. What is your summer reading assignment? We have to read The Life of Andrew Jackson and then do a book critique. Our second assignment is to write a free response essay. Our question is: Discuss any two of the following as they pertain to self-government in the New England settlements prior to 1650. *Constitutionalism *Democracy *Freedom of religion
I used this site this year for my AP class. Still anxiously waiting results!! *crosses fingers* This is a pretty good place, but I think the number one rule is to do work FIRST. Show us that you've done your homework too and we'll help you.
I had to read the book 1950's by somebody I can't remember. LOL. The social part of the book was fun, but I was confused during the political parts.
Have fun during your history class!! I sure did.

My brother Mark had to read the 1950's back when he took APUSH (mind you he's a college senior now). I didn't have to read it though, my AP History class rocked.
And yes, rule numero uno is do work first, then ask for help.
