Ok so my teacher told me that my notecards need more detail. You know use the internet as well as the book. I'm good with that. But I checked with my friend who gets great grades on notecards and he says all he uses is the book and some big words. Now is it just me or is it unfair that I get 75s for more work than his 100s? And how do I fix it?

alright, just so i know how to help better, what do you cover on these notecards? are they like basic facts?
from here though id just say, give a nice thorough paragraph over your notecard topic, and well..use some big words! maybe provide an interesting fact or something..

they're people and acts and what not from the chapters.
basically whatever my teacher finds that he likes. Then he collects like 5 cards from each chapter not even all of them b/c we do like 30 cards per chapter and 2 chapters at a time

Talk to him about it. I always tell my teachers when I have a problem with them. Just say "Hey, I noticed that you gave me and ______ different grades and the only difference is that he uses bigger words." The only thing he can do is say oops or go sit down. If he tries messing with your grades, tel the principal. At the very least it will make you feel better knowing that you stood up to him.
P.S. I assume zero liability for any and all consequences resulting from my freely given advice. LOL
Thanks for the advice. I actually did talk to him about it and he looked at my latest set of cards (very quickly) and said they looked better and he thought I'd have a better grade this time. So basically "Oh you've noticed? Shit I better start actually reading your cards!" lol but hey whatever works

haha thats funny, i hate it when teachers are gay like that.
my spanish teacher took 5 points off for using 2 sheets of paper once when she said to use 1 and a half.
we were just conjugating crap, but she said, " -5points, Save the trees!"
i laughed, and got sarcastic on my assignment afterward..
awesme though, its cool that youre getting the grades your earning now.

yeah it's nice to get what I deserve. But I feel bad because if other kids in the class won't speak up they'll get docked points they don't deserve.
