Unit IV DBQ- Due 11/29/05

Ok, folks, I have a DBQ on unit IV and have (at this point in time) lost the documents . . . (::mourns her own stupidity::). I was wondering, though if any of you could lend a helping hand with this one:

"Reform movements in the United States sought to expand democratic ideals." Assess the validity of the statement with specific reference to the years 1825-1850.

It isn't due till Tuesday, but I only have Monday night to work on it, so quick responses would be INFINITELY helpful!

Thanks, all!

Ummm, we are using any information from the book (pages 258-371), that pertains to the reformation period.

Hmm, let me rephrase the question. I have all the information I need, really, and my problem is that I don't fully understand what the 'Democratic Ideals' are. If someone could fill me in on those I think I have the info that I need to complete the paper.
