Wow, I just took my first unit test for APUSH. It was not what I was expecting!!! In a way it was eaiser than I thought, because I knew all of the information that she was asking about, the only problem was for some answer choices, there were two answers that were correct depending on the way you looked at it. I have notes supporting both answers, but How am I supposed to know which one to put down for that particular question?!?!? Oh well I think I did pretty good in total, We'll find out tomorrow when we get them back...:D
SMARTblondie09!!!!:)
Ah yes, that's the one deceiving answer. AP Multiple choice questions almost always have: one answer that's right AKA the one you should choose, one answer that looks right, but really isn't because of one small detail that you sometimes can't really grasp, and then two that if you know your facts, you know are wrong.
Basically there's no way to just know, you have to get used to it. Look at your test when you get it back, and try to figure out why the answers you thought were right weren't, even if you got that question right. That'll help you for the next test I think. I suggest you keep doing that for your next tests as well.
Good luck and I hope you did well!

I found a lot of "deceiving" answers of my last test, too.
for me, it more like the questions are analytical...so even if you know the information, you still have to comprehend it.
I HATE those kinds of questions!
Ugh. Those kinds of questions annoy me. After a while I just wrote a paragraph on why I chose an answer and why the others could or couldn't be right. That lasted until I had to do that to every question. After that, I wrote another choice. Like.. If it's only A, B, C, D, then I'd add an E and write something for that. My teacher thought that was comedic, but otherwise graded it as if it were any other test.-.-''
capitalization? who the heck came up with this horrible rule?!

uhm...ok. well, if you think about it, alot of it is logical...just on college level logic. i say this because i just took my unit3 test and i didn't study much at all and i still did ok.but since there's lots of info, it's mostly just
REPETITION.
there's a bunch of study techniques u can do, so long as they're all repetitive. flashcards usually help me. study group also...something i have yet to do.
