Vague FRQ from 1801- 1840

Sorry guys, I know this is a really really vague thread but

My teacher's giving us an in class FRQ tomorrow about the years 1801-1840.
He's probably going to cover areas such as American Democratization, Sectional Strife (aka the banks and hard money{gold} vs. soft money{paper}), the Causes and Effects of the War of 1812, and two party politics

So far I've got that a few things for the Causes and effects of the war of 1812:
Impressement
Continental system(french) and Orders in Council (british)
it ended with the Treaty of Ghent

Yeah so not much. Also, in my notes I jotted down that the Transportation Revolution and Westward Expansion were also either effects or causes of the war (I didn't write down which) but I don't really understand how. any help?

Then I've got some stuff on the two-party politics, including
Feds vs. Antifeds
Antifeds evolving to Democrats
Democrats vs. Whigs

I don't really have anything on the other two topics. I don't really understand how America was democratized, if anyone could kindof point me in the right direction for that.

Help is greatly appreciated, and once again you'll be my hero since this is so vague.
