Can anyone explain WWII to me in an easy way...i sort of get it...but if anyone can simplify it for me, that'd be great! :rolleyes:

heh, about as simplified as you can get.
Seriously though, their is no easy way to simplfy WW2. What part are you having trouble with, as Chris asked, and we'll help you out.

ummmmm i guess i can try to sum up the major stuff, mite be out of order
1. Germany invades Poland, starts war in 1939
2. Germany invades France and has control of contental Europe
3. Germany's only enemy is GB and has a massaive air campaign that fails, Battle of Britan
4. Germany backstabs Russia and invades them
5. Japan attacks Pearl Harbor in Dec. 7th? 1941, US enters war
6. In north Africa, English forces push west while US forces land in Morroce and Algeria and sandwhiches Rommel and his Africa Korps and they win
7. From there they invade Italy, Mussolini is overthrown and killed and Italy joins Allies
8. Ummm I'm not sure where the order goes but the USSR wins the battle of Stalingrad and slowly push back the Germans
9. Also not sure where this goes, but the US win the battles of Midway and Coral Sea in the Pacific and turn tide
10. US, English and Canadian forces invade Northern France and open a second front in Western Europe and head for Berlin
11. Hitler's last ditch effort was known as the Battle of teh Bulge where Hitler threw everything he had at the US and GB forces in Belgium?
12. Hitler commits suicide, USSR gets to Berlin first, VE-Day Germany surrenders
13. Allies agreeded to take out Germany first then concentrate on Japan, US practicies "island hopping" by capturing islands to get to Japan
14. Hiroshima and Nagasaki gets bombed by A-bomb and wat ends
