Should I do WHAP?

I'm currently scheduled to take WHAP next year, but I'm having second thoughts. With the major I want in college, they don't make you take World History. So...what should I do?

I can think of a few reasons to take it...

  • It would be challenging, if you want to be challenged in school
  • While it may not be a major requirement, it may be used as a general education elective. I'm a physics major and I still had to take at least two semesters of history to satify general education credits
  • It's a better preparation for college level work that regular classes

Of course, if you don't want to take it, then you don't have to. Or you could take the class without the test at the end if you don't want to shell out 80 dollars to take it...
