There are a lot of ways that colleges decide who gets to walk through their doors to become a student, but one of the most important is the SAT score. These standardized tests are designed to be the barometer of academic potential, and the top institutions of higher learning demand a sizable SAT score for admission.

Saw a special offer that might be of interest to the juniors and seniors here. U.S. News College Compass is offering a free year of their college profile search. Not sure if it's any better than some of the other resources out there, but at the cost of $0, it's not a bad option to have. Apparently Google has a special deal going on with them.
Trying to find a college scholarship to help you continue your education you will have to approach various sources. One of them is your own community - the hospitals and foundations among which many give scholarships to students who want to attend a college in the specific state or in a specific study field.
Social networking is the standard today, especially with students. Its unusual for people not to engage in some form of networking through technology, whether it is Facebook, Twitter or through cell phones. Social interaction is not the only use for networking, it can be used to boost your studies and progress your learning through crowdsourcing education.
