Articles of Confederation & the Constitution

Compare and contrast the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution, especially in regard to the specific powers granted by each to the national government.

the articles of confederation were basically a failure compared to the constitution. It could not control commerce and the current economy. The only thing they had control over was passing laws, ex. the land ordinance acts. The constiution was an imrovment over the scrapped articles of confederation allowing for a bicaramel legislature senate and house of reps. throught the constitution, interstate commerce began to flow and it limited the rights of the government.
