Does anybody know any good tips to help me loose maybe an inch off my waist by March 30? I bought a dress last year for the military ball that I didn't get to wear, and I was going to wear it this year, but it doesn't fit. I have changed my eating habits and have started walking everyday...y other ideas would be welcomed!

Well, it sounds like you've got a good plan. I suggest going to a park or a gym a few days a week and running or playing a game as well, just more exercise. DDR also works well ^^. And take the long way around- stairs instead of elevator and that sort of thing. Remember to stay healthy with your food changes- although I'm sure you have. Other than that, make sure you drink lots of water. It makes you feel more full and cleans out the body. Well, really most of my advice involves diet. I'm happy to share if you want, but you may be happy with your diet and that's fine too. You may even be doing the things I would advise. But yeah, if you wanna hear feel free to reply or pm me or im me whenever.

Try jogging two to three times a week for two or so miles. Jogging seems to be the best way for slimming down. It always works for us on the Cross Country team.

I just want to stress the importance of eating healthy vs. starving yourself. While starving yourself may mean that you loose weight quickly, it is bad on the body. Eat healthy and eat junk food in smaller proportions. Just wanted to stress that.

Im the opposite of you- I'm trying to gain weight. I'm 6'2", 175-180lbs depending on the day. I want to get up to 190-195 by the end of the summer. I've been lifting everyday, eating well, and taking the right supplements to help me put on weight in a healthy manner.

I'm trying to gain some muscle though. Doing push-ups and sit-ups every morning and night and running for about an hour a day and going to start hitting the rec center 3 or 4 times a week when I get back to college.

I know! my best male friends are all at least 6 ft and are lean as anything. granted they arent athletes or anything, and i mean its not like us girls are huge or anything, im a small girl ( 5'4 and under 120) but still why do they get to be so skinny all the time with out trying?
