Friends Vs. Education

Aug 11, 2009

School is a place for learning and the expanding of knowledge. Even though this is so many students end up disliking school. They mainly go because their parents force them to. Other than that students go to school to see their friends. If students didnt have other students to interact with while in school then they would really dislike school. You can say that having friends in school takes the boredom out of it. This can be true for so many students but in the end students need to realize which one is more benefical:Friends or Education. Friends will only be in your like for a period of time, but education will be their for always especially in the long run. Everyone probably heard the saying: Friends are like seasons, they come and go. This saying is only speaking the truth. Many people like to be entertained by their friends, but what happens when the entertainment interferes with education. Some friends come with drama and may bring you in it then you lose foucus on whats important. Others our immature and childish to the point where you dont even want to be around them. Some friends may use you and other may lie to you. In the end your friends, nine times out of ten, will not be by your side in the long run. Education on the other hand doesn't pick the person. Education doesnt turn its back on you, and education doesn't have the drama that friends bring. Education is the key to the future. Without it what kind of job will you have? How about when you decided to have kids then what? Education helps you so you succeed in the future. It gives you the career of a doctor, a lawyer, and a scientist, while your friends do not. Right know while many students feel as though education is boring all I can say is let education be boring, but you must remember do not give up on education because its your guide to your future.
