Lately, I've been freezing whenever we have to write an essay. I don't know why. I know the material. I'm generally good at writing. I shouldn't be having such a hard time with it. For example: a couple weeks ago we wrote a free response on Reconstruction. I got a 60 on it. When I reread it, I realized that it really didn't make sense because I'd never made my point in it. Yesterday, we wrote a DBQ on the "Robber Barons" and Social Darwinism. I was very well prepared for the essay. Coach had let us take the materials home overnight, and I had worked hard on getting ready for the essay. I was very confident. I got to class, and something happened. All I managed to get out was a page long intro paragraph... Is that sad or what?
I don't know what the matter with me is. I really not like this usually. Has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, can you help me out?
Thanks.
