When bacteria enters, it can infect the urinary and reproductive system. Chlamydia is usually sexually transmitted and people that are sexually active and have multiple partners are at a high risk. Symptoms in Men Symptoms of Chlamydia in Men: Burning sensation during urination Discharge from the penis or rectum Testicular tenderness or pain Rectal discharge or pain Symptoms in Women Only about 30% of women have symptoms. Symptoms in Women: Burning sensation during urination Painful sexual intercourse Rectal pain or discharge Symptoms of PID, salpingitis, liver inflammation and also similar to hepatitis Vaginal discharge Treatment for Chlamydia
