Why does school matter?

Sylvia Ciszek AP language & Composition Mrs. Hannan 8/28/11 Should outside organizations be allowed to operate failing schools? We often think of the phrase ?no child left behind? when we think about our school system. The no child left behind act was established in 2002 and was simply created to add accountability, flexibility and choice to a students education. This way, no child is ever left behind because he cant fit a certain standard. So then we ask the question, why do we still have failing school and what do we do with them?
