Procrastination = Sleep Deprived

I know I shouldn't be up til 1AM every night...only to get up at 6AM. I know I should minimize the amount of time I spend distracted. I know I shouldn't start my hw at 7 (or later...).
But I still do it.
Do any of you guys get to sleep early? How on earth do you motivate yourselves to get your hw/studying done quickly and efficiently? HOW DO YOU MINIMIZE YOUR PROCRASTINATION?!?
Yeah we all know procrastination is bad, get rid of distractions, etc etc. But I find myself daydreaming or doing just about anything to get out of hw (even if the phone, laptop, mp3 player, tv are all away from me).
What is effective for YOU? Do you get a decent amount of sleep?
