Bernal Block 1 March 28, 2010 The Treaty of Versailles The Treaty of Versailles signed by the Allied countries and Germany was the main term to end the Great War after the amnesties of 1918. The U.S. president Woodrow Wilson presented a 14-point plan that provided the outline for the Treaty of Versailles, although Germany hoped the Treaty would be based on Woodrow's plan, only 4 of the points were actually included in the Treaty of Versailles. At the Hall of Mirrors, the Treaty of Versailles finally ended the Great War, but this created a setting for World War II because of the antagonism left by the U.S, France, and Germany.
