Describe the political and cultural achievements of the Han dynasty. TERMS 1. Middle Kingdom: 2. Mandate of Heaven: A Chinese religious and political ideology created by the Zhou. A ruler is chosen from the gods and if said ruler rules in an invirtuous way then they can be stripped from their leadership.
