AP World History Reading Schedule Period II: 600 BCE ? 600 CE The reading assigned is homework for the date listed. You should be prepared to discuss the material the next day in class. Regular, unannounced reading quizzes will be given to ensure that you are keeping up with the material. Additional primary source material will also be included at regular intervals. For world history purposes, the Romans were indeed a ?phase? of the Mediterranean classical societies, and should be taught and discussed the same way that the classical Persian, Indian, and Chinese empires were taught. Students need to pick up the similarities as well as identify a distinguishing characteristic or two about each of these classical societies.
