Taxonomy: the naming, identification and ,grouping of spicies. 1.simplified the study of species 2. Show's similaritys, differences, and relations between species. 3. Started by Carolus linnaeus (1707-1778) -Linnaeus system: Dashing-> Domain King-> Kindom Philis-> Phylum Came-> Class Over-> Order For-> Familly Great-> Genus Soup-> species -Naming with the Linnean system: Each species has a name based on it Genus and species (note the capital letter on the Genus and lower case letter on the Species) This system is called a binomial nomenclature which mean two name naming system -They are placed in groups based off of shared characteristics.
