Question: What is unique about the Dogfish Shark that makes it another shark species? Hypothesis: If we dissect a Dogfish Shark and study the internal and external organs, then we will be able to determine what is unique about the Dogfish Shark. Materials: Dogfish Shark Scalpel Dissecting scissors (One edge sharp the other blunt) Goggles Gloves Camera Procedure: 1. Make a mid-ventral incision from the cloaca cranially to just below the jaw. Make your incisions shallow. 2. Cut around the head, around each fin, around the spircles, and around the cloaca.
