On a piano the white keys are the solid notes c,d,e,f,g,a,b,c ??I stated these in the order they appear in written music you would read. Middle c is in between the treble and base Clef and the notes I stated above are going up and down from there in the lines and spaces.??The flats and sharp notes are the black keys on the piano and if you think of them as halfway between two solid notes it will help you remember it's like math flat is down and sharp is up 1/2 note from the solid note.??The base clef is a similar process just going in backward order from middle c down.??
