Pocahontas/ Powhatan: John Smith was kid napped by chief Powhatan and Pocahontas saved home. In 1607 chief Powhatan thee James River area. -Pocahontas act meant that Powhatan?s tribe wanted peace. John Rolfe: John Rolfe got married to Pocahontas in 1614 and their marriage was a peace settlement for the First Anglo-Powhatan War. His marriage helped end the first Anglo-Powhatan War.
