Sean Byrne Mr. Frey Brit Lit 9/5/12 Star Wars ? Hero and Villain In the original Star Wars trilogy, Luke Skywalker is featured as the main protagonist. The antagonist of Luke, Darth Vader, is introduced at the start of the movie. Luke is an easy protagonist to identify with, coming from humble origins. His values, such as believing in oneself, are embraced by society. Darth Vader also represents some fears of society, such as an over imposing and tyrannical government.
