Tycho Brahe- 14 December 1546 ? 24 October 1601 Danish Noble Alchemist and Astronomer Created institutes on a Netherland island by Fredrick II where he outfitted it with state of the art laboratories, libraries, and observatories. However after several disagreements with the Dutch king, Tycho moved his studies to Prague, where he was given safe passage to continue his work by the Holy Roman Emperor and Bohemian king, Rudolph II. Tycho then became the official imperial astronomer.
