Our Town by Thornton Wilder speech
1 Henschel Erin Henschel Mr. Nelson English III AP-2nd 3 October 2012 Our Town Life is precious. Life should be appreciated. Life should not be taken for granted. You?d think all of that is obvious, right? Well, I wish I had realized how great my life was, before it ended. Though I was not the only one who was oblivious to the subtle joys one should cherish in life. As a child, every day seemed just the same. I would wake up, mother made breakfast, we ate, and then ran off to school. The paper and milk came every morning at the same time and we seemed to have the same conversations over and over again. Everyone in town had their daily ritual that rarely changed.
