AP UNITED STATES HISTORY SELECTED TOPICS PROJECT PURPOSE: This assignment is to allow students an opportunity to explore aspects of AP United States History of personal interest that may not otherwise be part of the general focus of the course. The project will require the student to become an ?expert? on a specific event and/or issue in America?s history through research and analysis. He/she will demonstrate their mastery through a presentation and seminar discussion. ASSIGNED TASK: Research & Analysis ? You must write a thesis statement relative to your topic, support your thesis with at least 7-10 facts/examples, along with an analysis of those facts, and formulate a final conclusion based upon your research. [You are required to submit your thesis statement
