The ?Big Three? leaders met at Tehran (November 1943), Yalta (February 1945), and Potsdam (July 1945) to discuss war policy and the postwar situation Tensions and mistrusts among them were already evident before the fighting finished Stalin was determined to create a pro-Soviet zone in Eastern Europe.
