A good actor loves the stage and art as a fish loves the water, it is necessary for them to survive. You cannot be content with a certain stage of your career for to long. You should long to keep growing ?An actor needs a soldier?s discipline, without compromise or exception and without mercy? You must have ethics for an actor without ethics is merely a craftsman The Good Actors (continued) It is important for an actor to be polite and mannerly. As Stanislavski said, ?Good manners are part of an actor?s creativity. Even very talented actors should be sacrificed if they can not contribute to the harmonious atmosphere of the group.
