My impressions of Lady Macbeth are that she seems very feisty and ruthless. Besides being married to Macbeth, she seems to be his partner in crime. This is supported by her determination to have him kill king Duncan so that he can become king. She is very power-hungry and is using her husband to get that power. It reveals that there is an eerie, occult tone throughout the rest of the play and that the witches are going to cause trouble. The weather is stormy and foggy which reflects the corrupt and selfish thoughts in the rest of the act. It seems like a dark play. It gives him a taste of power but no way to actually grasp it.

Idalmis Betsabe Perez February 12, 2013 Mrs. Southard Macbeth By: William Shakespeare Macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare in which he shows us how an ambitious man and woman can get a person to take somebody?s life. Macbeth is the king?s cousin thane of Glamis and thane of Cawdor. Macbeth at first is like a hero. A person who fought wars for others, for his country, for his King. On the way of doing good he met three witches that give Macbeth and general Banquo prophesy that makes Macbeth and his wife a little more ambitious and crazy than what they already are. Although Macbeth and Lady Macbeth were the ones who killed the King I believe the three witches are the one to blame.
