With survival in the global economy getting tougher by the years, parents are also becoming involved in pushing their kids harder. These moms, referred to as ?Tiger Moms?, are especially difficult on their children. An example is Amy Chua, a Yale University professor and the mother of Sophia and Lulu. After the publication of her book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, there were controversial thoughts on her aggressive parental methods. Some thought that she was what a mother should be like, while a number believed that she was just cruel to her children. I, on the other hand, am not sure what to think on Amy Chua?s way of being a parent.
